Frequently asked questions
The information
- At what time do you consider that an item of information can be "distributed"?
The information must have the following characteristics:
- Be in the public domain or benefit from a distribution agreement from its owner
- Be collected in an industrial way: mass data entry or digital format
- How complete is the information covered?
Information is meant to be exhaustive, whatever the type of information. However, data layers may not be exhaustive due to: progressive geographical deployment, partial sources of information …
Partial layers are as follows:
- Building's technical features and amenities
- Properties photos
- Local Urban Development Plan ("e;plan local d'urbanisme"e;: PLU), Land registry and cities projects
- Published sales and lettings only
- How do you estimate how reliable you are?
Reliability is a complex concept. We take 2 approaches into consideration: the quality of the information and updates.
Regarding those 2 points, we are dependent on our providers. As we chose the best data providers, we gathered good and updated information.
- Do you set a threshold above which identified office buildings are entered into your database?
We map a property when we identify that it is partially or totally owned by a legal entity. Thus, our database contains not just offices, but also shops, warehouses, business premises, accomodation…
- What types of companies are there in the database?
We select all companies and their establishments. We do not include craftspeople and liberal professions.
- What do your rent and sale price references correspond to?
These are the sales prices and rents communicated by the owners and brokers. This information has therefore been checked and is face value information. Other elements enter into the economic price and they often remain confidential.
Subscriptions
- How do you become a customer?
You can register directly via Internet: certain checks have to be carried out before any registration. You therefore need to register on the
La Place De l'Immobilier PRO website and then a sales representative will contact you.
- Who can subscribe?
Any company or professional tha is directly or indirectly interested by commercial real estate: investors, tenants, brokers, experts, bankers, public organisation, ministry…
- What does a subscription give access to?
Customers have taken out an annual subscription, which entitles them to unlimited access to the scope defined in the subscription. The scope represents a cross between geography and information layers.
